D360 pledges support for Developing the Young Workforce

D360 is proud to announce that we have taken the DYW Pledge, joining organisations across Scotland that are committed to helping young people develop the skills, experience and confidence they need to succeed in the world of work.

The DYW Pledge is a commitment from employers to support Scotland’s young people through opportunities including employment, apprenticeships, further and higher education, training programmes and volunteering. At its heart, it is about working together to help every young person achieve their potential and ensuring they have a place in education, training or employment.

For D360, this is something we are particularly passionate about. We want to help young people understand the wide range of careers available within the industry and give them the opportunity to see what working in a professional environment is really like. As part of our DYW commitment, we will be working with local schools to provide practical opportunities for young people, including class talks and career sessions with local primary and secondary schools, and workplace visits giving pupils the chance to see D360 in action.

Our commitment to young people is also part of D360’s wider focus on supporting the communities in which we work. We have recently become the official community partner of Falkirk Football Club, strengthening our connection with the local community and giving us another opportunity to make a positive impact. At the heart of the partnership is a Tickets for Schools programme, which will give local school pupils the opportunity to attend Falkirk FC matches and experience the atmosphere of a matchday at the Falkirk Stadium.

We believe that engaging with young people early can make a real difference. By sharing our knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for what we do, we hope to inspire the next generation and help them make informed decisions about their future.
